JLynk Recommendations for Optimisation |
|
In
developing an optimisation and placement plan for this
website, JLynk recommends modifications to the following
sections and elements of any website.
Titles: Each page
in the site should have a unique title.
Metas:
While not as powerful as in previous years, the Description
and Keyword Meta tags still carry some weight, especially
on older search tools. On new-generation search engines
such as Google or Teoma, the Description is extremely
important.
Text: Search engine
spiders can only read text with 100% efficiency missing
important information in images, java scripts and Flash.Text
is by far the most important element examined by search
engines. JLynk staff re-write website text and forward
it to you for approval before posting it to your site.
Link-Structure:
JLynk examines how pages in your site are linked to one
another and, if necessary, prepares a stronger internal
linking system.
Site Architecture:
JLynk examines your site architecture, and how spiders
would move from level to level within the site.
Link Density: This
is the number of incoming links from other sites, as well
as the number of internal links found on your site. We
make this number as high as possible through our optimisation
process.
Link-Relevancy:
New-generation search engines such as Google and Teoma
examine the relevancy of information found on websites
linked to your website. If the information on a site linked
to yours relates directly to information found on your
site, it is considered relevant and is beneficial to search
engine placements.
Link-Popularity:
Link-Popularity is the final measurement used when Google
applies their ranking formula known as PageRank to a site,
based on link-relevancy and link-density.
